COFFEE PODS TYPES THAT URBAN BREW IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH

Since the coffee pod/capsule market has expanded over the past few years there are now so many different brands that create pods and machines. It can all get a bit confusing. However, there is no need to stress as we have made this blog clear things up.

First I'll give you a bit of background information and then get into the nitty gritty of compatibility.

IS IT CALLED A COFFEE POD, CAPSULE OR PAD?

Firstly, are they pods or capsules?

The term pod is more synonymous with coffee capsules. They are made from aluminum or plastic and were popularized by Nespresso. We chose to use the term pod.

What about ESE pods?

Easy Serving Espresso pods don't work in coffee pod/capsule machine and rather work in espresso machines. These are more like coffee pads and are made from a material like a teabag.
